How anxiety can affect your life

Of course there are reasons why you should act on your anxiety and why you should try and keep it to a minimum. Anxiety can affect your life in very different aspects.

Mental health. Constant stress isn’t good for things like your immune system, your heart and your brain. This will make your immune system vulnerable. Through the high blood pressure you have more chance of a heart disease or a heart attack.

Physical condition. When feeling anxious your muscle like to contract or tighten very often. This will lead to cramps.  Heavy breathing and feeling restless also are effects your anxiety can have your life.

Addictions. Craving for an easy way out of your anxiety can lead to you drinking, smoking or any other substance to ‘get out of this world’ for a moment. This will only lead to an addiction and will only solve the problem for a short period of time. It’s important to learn how to deal with things like this on a more natural ways.

Sleep. Getting troubled by your anxiety before you go to sleep is one of the things that anxiety can do to you. Because of this you can get even less sleep and anxiety will more easily and easily work on you.

Relationships. Worrying for possible outcomes, that are a slight chance of actually happening, may have some influence on your different relationships.

For example anxiety will take away the joy of a person. Meaning this you will not get that much joy from your partner or friends. Negative thoughts will also come in between all the activities between your relations. Through anxiety you might find yourself asking for reassurance constantly but this will also become an annoyance. It’s important to be looking for balance in a situation like this.

Your own emotions. Anxiety starts, most of the time, with things like stress and this stress will try and combine itself with other emotions. Anxiety will not go good together with other positive emotions and will almost completely block out other positive emotions as joy or happiness but will go in line with feelings like sadness or irritation.

How you look at yourself. Anxiety can affect your way of seeing yourself. You can start looking down on yourself and this can have even more bad effects on your life. Check it out here.
